Wilderness Committee
The Wilderness Committee was established in 1999.
BCHA is a grass roots organization and we emphasize that issues are locally driven. This committee is meant to be a resource and provide guidance to those folks out in the trenches. Its focus is on lands of federal jurisdiction. This committee provides tools, information and resources to enable state/local public lands committees/chairmen to more adequately evaluate wilderness issues and concerns and effectively influence the outcome of wilderness planning documents.
